LiveTouch is a live feed information solution that can be used to demonstrate and explore the wealth of adventures, activities, accommodators, services, information, bars, restaurants and cafes available in the Queenstown region.

Users can be front of house and sales staff, tourists, visitors and locals - all of whom can access LiveTouch using a range of devices (TouchScreen, ipad, Tablet PC, Smart Phone) to browse its live content.

Content is targeted to compliment the user's log-in location and page tabs are tailored to fit the device they're using.

LiveTouch is not quite a website or a download application however it takes the best elements of both and combines these together to provide quick access to live and updated 'sites' or 'pages' whereby users can navigate their information, services and activities.

As well as LiveTouch, Headquarters also owns the Queenstown.com domain name. As part of this same package Queenstown.com redirects web users to LiveTouch content, meaning that clients can benefit from being listed with Queenstown's top search engine ranking.

In the future Queenstown.com will expand and develop to incorporate a QUI (Queenstown User Intranet) for long term local residents to share information, connect and socially network online whilst on the go or in the office. This will include a twitter page showing updates from all of Queenstown's business leaders, review pages, daily specials and local news.

QR codes are two-dimensional bar codes that can contain any alphanumeric text and often feature the company's website URL code.  QR codes are increasingly being found on places such as product labels, billboards and buildings and invite passers-by to pull out their mobile phones and photograph it. Using decoding software on tools such as camera phones it interprets the QR codes when photographing it and instantly directs the user to the company's website where they can learn about the company and its product or service (a practice known as 'mobile tagging').

QR Codes are a great way to advertise the mobile version of your listing - you could call it an electronic brochure. Headquarters is able to measure the usage of these codes specifically and whilst QR codes are relatively new to the mainstream public (initial uptake might be quite small) it pays to be seen at the head of the pack and up to date with the latest media and technology.
